Trend Tuesday!

April Showers Bring May Flowers so todays trend is…

Yes, I know florals have been around for a very very long time, and every spring everyone wears them, but I was curious as to why florals are so popular in the fashion world.  The most obvious conclusion I drew was that it was spring and people need something light to get themselves out of that winter funk.  I also took into consideration the fact that floral prints are usually on more feminine silhouettes and that could be why we like them so much because lets face it florals make us feel girly.  Then I was thinking, florals have all of the above characteristics, but they are also usually flattering because its usually in an all over pattern or the garment itself is flattering and the florals are used more sparingly.   Florals just seem like an easy pattern to wear at least for me,and I hope they stay in style or else I’ll have to get rid of a lot of my favorite pieces.  Let me know what you guys thinks of this trend.  Below are some of the looks I love in floral and all the different types of patterns you can wear.
