Five Winter Must Haves

Hey all,

Here are five pieces you must have this winter to keep warm and look great doing it!

Five Winter Must Haves

H M oversized top
$57 – hm.com

Warehouse batwing top
$69 – warehouse.co.uk

H M black opaque tight
$13 – hm.com

Black trilby hat
$360 – avenue32.com

First, a big chunky sweater is the piece that you. It’s get if you can’t manage all five. It’s comfy, cozy, and too cute to pass up. I love this beige knit, but all neutrals including navy would be cute in a big chunky knit.

Next, a printed long sleeved top. This is the winter version of a graphic tee. Wear it under a blazer, a vest, or just with jeans it will make your whole look more interesting.

Third, a nice felted hat. I love a good knit hat, but there is something more sophisticated about a felted one and a wide brim is really on trend right now.

Fourth, cozy tights. You might be thinking how is that possible, but these h&m tights are fleece lined! They are perfect for walking around in the dead of winter and still looking chic.

Finally, ankle boots. Ankle boots are great for winter and these cut out ones are incredibly stylish. I also love the buckle. Boots make it easy to walk around and look cute without having to wear sneakers.

I hope you are all enjoying this winters weather because I sure am. Be safe and chic!

  2. I love the hat trend but I have the biggest issue with them they always blow of my head in the wind! Any suggestions?

    • That always happens to me too! Here are two options I have tried. 1. You can use bobby pins to hold the hat in place. 2. Get a hat that is knitted so that it comes in at the bottom and will be tighter on your head and won’t fall off as easily.

      Hope this helps 🙂

      • Thanks for the getting back so soon
Will definitely try the bobby pins as I’m dying to wear my floppy hat without it embarrassingly flying away in the wind
        Love your blog
